Welcome to Firkin Crane, Cork’s Home of Dance
Dance Interactive, the multi-media exhibition space at the heart of Firkin Crane’s historic building, presents Assembling Moments Exhibition, a community dance project with teenage participants from Cork. The young people have been working with Cork’s first Dancer in Residence, Laura Murphy, in collaboration with filmmaker Ciara Hyland, photographer Clare Keogh and composer Irene Buckley, to create 3 short dance films and a photography exhibition.If you are enthusiastic about dance, curious about how dance meets digital technology or simply eager to take a look inside Cork’s home of dance, then drop into Firkin Crane between 10am and 5pm.

From Witches, an outdoor performance that takes place at dawn by the Lough, to the inner landscapes of Icarus, Firkin Crane's Dance Curator Fearghus Ó Conchúir brings audiences on a journey of discovery and continues his own inquiry into who we are as individuals and as a culture with Cure.
Dance Interactive is a multi-media exhibition space at the heart of Firkin Crane’s historic building. Visitors can immerse themselves in a dynamic environment featuring interactive installations, photographic exhibitions and dance film-work.
