Alexandre Iseli was born in Switzerland in 1970 where he started dancing at the age of 13 years old. In 1995 Alexandre graduated Master of Science in Biology (biochemistry, ecology).
Together with Jazmin Chiodi, Alexandre founded Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company in 2008. The company has toured internationally (Ireland, Germany, Brazil, USA, Mexico, France, Korea, Venezuela) and receiving critical acclaim. The company also performs repertoire from other choreographers: Hélène Cathala (F) Liz Roche (Irl), Mariana Bellotto (Arg).
Since 1993, AlexandreIseli has been working as a professional contemporary dancer. He accumulated considerable experience, taking part in the creative processes, performances and worldwide touring of over 30 different pieces in more than 25 countries. He collaborated with some of the best-known dance companies in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Ireland, including two French National Choreographic Centres.
