Aruba Coghlan started dancing at four years old and she continue to dance and teach dance to this day. In the sixties she organised the first R.A.D. Exams in Cork and formed the Cork Dance Company in 1966.

She was appointed a Dance Examiner for the International Dance Teachers Association in 1994. She is a Life Member of the Royal Academy of Dancing and The Imperial Society and a Registered Teacher at the Trinity College London and The Royal Irish Academy. Ms. Coghlan frequently examines in England and abroad and holds Master Classes, Teacher Training, and Private Lessons in all branches of dance.

Firkin Crane classes : Saturday, 9.30am – 11.00am Intermediate and Advanced Ballet. For information on lower grades in both Ballet and Tap classes at the Firkin Crane on Saturdays and St. Luke’s Studio during the week please enquire.

Our members are all young Cork people, children, teenagers and adult boys and girls, who acquire a sense of hard work and team spirit together with an appreciation of the beauty of movement and music in presenting our annual Cork Dance Company production, which will be on Friday 10th, to Sunday 12th March at Firkin Crane at 8pm each evening.
